Editorial Policy

Editorial Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

MyEducation publishes education information for students and other readers who need clear and useful guidance. This policy explains how we research, write, review and update our content.

Our editorial goal

We publish information because it can help a reader make a decision, complete an application, understand an education process or solve a practical problem. We do not publish pages only to target search queries.

We aim for content that is original, useful, understandable and honest about what is known, what has changed and what still needs confirmation.

Research and sources

For information that can affect a reader’s decision, we prefer primary sources. Depending on the topic, these may include official examination bodies, universities, government agencies, scholarship providers, embassies, recognised institutions and official programme websites.

We may use reputable secondary sources when they add useful context. Important claims should be checked against the strongest available source before publication or update.

Time-sensitive information

Education information can change quickly. Deadlines, fees, admission requirements, examination dates, scholarship rules and application procedures can change after an article is published.

For important time-sensitive pages, we check the relevant official source when updating the article. Where useful, we show a published date or updated date so readers can understand the age of the information.

Google Search and SEO

We use SEO to help readers find useful information. We do not treat an SEO score as a ranking guarantee, and we do not write for a checklist at the expense of the reader.

We monitor official Google Search Central documentation and the Google Search Status Dashboard. We also review major core updates, spam updates, search documentation changes and publisher policy changes when they are relevant to our work.

As of October 2026, Google has reported multiple ranking updates during 2026, including core and spam updates. Its documentation also continues to stress Search Essentials, people-first content and compliance with spam policies. We therefore review our content practices when Google’s official guidance changes instead of relying on old SEO advice.

Originality and AI-assisted work

We may use software and research tools during the production process, but our standard is not to publish unreviewed machine-generated material. Content must be checked, edited and supported by appropriate sources before publication.

We avoid repetitive wording, artificial keyword insertion, copied material, unsupported claims and pages created only to increase the number of indexed URLs. The final article should read like useful editorial work written for a real person.

Advertising and commercial relationships

MyEducation uses advertising, including Google AdSense, to support the website. Advertising may appear alongside editorial content. Advertisers do not receive editorial control over our articles.

Where sponsored, paid or otherwise commercial content is published, we aim to identify it clearly and handle links and disclosures in line with applicable platform requirements.

Corrections

If we discover an important error, we correct it. If a source changes a material fact, we update the relevant article when practical. See our Corrections Policy for more detail.

Editorial independence

We aim to separate editorial decisions from advertising decisions. The presence of advertising does not determine which education topics we cover or what our articles say about them.

Reader feedback

Readers can report errors, outdated information or concerns about an article through our Contact page. We review credible reports and make changes when the evidence supports them.
